Chigusa Takayama

Biography

Highmount Takayama was born on March 6, 1931. She began her acting career under the studio Daiya and later joined the Tokyo Actors' Life Cooperative Association. Notable roles include Superintendent in "Lost Chapter of Snow: Passion" (1985), Asa(亜佐) in "Nun in Rope Hell" (1984), and Shuji's Mother in "Pastoral: To Die in the Country" (1974).
