Biography

Kumi Taguchi is a Japanese actress of mixed ancestry, known for her roles in Nikkatsu's Roman porno series in the 1970s. Her breakthrough came with starring roles in Tokyo Emmanuelle (1975) and its sequel, Private Instruction (1975), showcasing her figure and acting prowess. Taguchi's performances also garnered international recognition, including a nod from Chilean writer Antonio Skármeta in his 2003 novel The Dancer and the Thief.
