Biography

Ioana Crăciunescu is a Romanian actress and poet born in Bucharest in 1950. She has published six volumes of collected poetry and was awarded the Writers' Union of Romania Prize in 1981 for her work. In 1979, she gained recognition with her role as Ana Baciu in "Blestemul pământului, blestemul iubirii", followed by a major success in 1991 after moving to France.
