Biography

Chengwu Guo is a Chinese ballet dancer and Principal Artist with The Australian Ballet. Born in China, he began his training at the Beijing Dance Academy at 11 and later won a scholarship to join The Australian Ballet School at 17. Guo rose through the ranks, becoming a Senior Artist in 2013 and Principal Artist in 2013, and won the Telstra Ballet Dancer and People's Choice Awards in 2011.
