Biography

Sam Spoons, born Martin Ash on February 8, 1942, is a British performer and percussionist best known for his work with The Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band. He played with the band from early 1964 to 1967 and again in 2006, contributing to several of their singles and the album Gorilla. Spoons also co-wrote and arranged the song "Jazz, Delicious Hot, Disgusting Cold" for the 1999 film soundtrack.
