Mal Evans

Biography

Malcolm Frederick Evans was a road manager and personal assistant to The Beatles from 1963 until their break-up in 1970. As the group's constant companion, he worked on all tours and recording sessions, occasionally contributing as an extra musician on many albums. After the band's dissolution, Evans continued working with individual Beatles on solo projects, including a stint as record producer that yielded a hit single for Badfinger, "No Matter What."
