Biography

Clody Bertola was a Romanian actress born on August 12, 1913, in București, who portrayed her husband in the 1973 film "Ciprian Porumbescu". She studied art drama at Conservatorul de Artă Dramatică and began her acting career with roles at Teatrul Bulandra and other prominent theaters. Bertola also worked in cinema, debuting in 1958, and was married to several notable figures, including directors Liviu Ciulei and Lucian Pintilie.
