Charles Dudley

Biography

Charles Dudley was born on October 1, 1883, in Fort Grant, Arizona, to a military family and spent his early years moving between the US and Canada. A stage performer for over a decade before entering film, he began working in comedies as a character actor, later starring in movie serials with Vitagraph. Dudley's notable portrayal of a blind father in the 1913 feature film Will o' the Wisp remains one of his most memorable roles.
