Biography

Mick Ronson was a critically acclaimed English musician and songwriter known for his melodic approach to guitar playing. As guitarist of the Spiders from Mars alongside David Bowie, he achieved significant commercial success and contributed to several influential albums, including Lou Reed's Transformer and Ian Hunter's solo work. A classically trained musician, Ronson also played in touring bands with Van Morrison and Bob Dylan before releasing his own solo studio albums, including Slaughter on 10th Avenue.
