Claire Malis was an American actress best known for her roles in the ABC daytime soap opera One Life to Live as Dr. Dorian Lord and her guest appearances on TV series such as The Facts of Life and From Here to Eternity. She portrayed Rose Polniaczek, mother of series regular Jo, in six episodes of The Facts of Life between 1983 and 1988. Malis also appeared in the 1986 film "night, Mother".
