Biography

Raquel Pennington is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and one of the top-ranked fighters in the women's bantamweight division. A high school graduate with athletic and academic scholarships, she began training in martial arts at 19 but initially fought amateur MMA from 2009 to 2011. After a professional debut TKO victory in 2012, Pennington went on to compete in Invicta Fighting Championships before rising through the ranks.
