Kumiko Okae was a Japanese actress, voice actress, and television presenter born on August 23, 1956, in Setagaya, Tokyo. She was known for her work on television dramas and hosting entertainment and variety shows, including the popular morning show Hanamaru Market on Tokyo Broadcasting System Television from 1996 to 2014. Okae's personal life was marked by her marriage to actor Baku Ohwada and her daughter, actress Miho Ohwada, until her passing in April 2020.
