Elizabeth Moody was a talented New Zealand actress and director born on October 29, 1939, in Worthing, Sussex, England. She transitioned to her new life as a naturalized New Zealander in 1957 and gained national recognition for her regular appearances on the TV show Beauty and the Beast from the late 1970s onwards. Moody also appeared in notable films such as Braindead, Heavenly Creatures, and The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring.
