Biography

Rukman Herman was a versatile Indonesian actor and artistic director whose notable career spanned several decades. He began his journey in film in 1961 with the role of Toha Pahlawan Bandung Selatan, followed by stints as an assistant artistic director in The Virgin of Bali (1971) and Bandung Lautan Api (1974). He also appeared in the 1978 production Primitif. Herman passed away at age 65 in Jakarta on April 19, 2004.
