Biography

Kenichi Kato is a Japanese actor born on October 31, 1949, in Shizuoka Prefecture. He is known for his roles in "Nagasaki: Memories of My Son" (2015) and has received several awards, including the 70th Mumei Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for "Mother and Child Together" (2016). Kato founded his own acting agency, Kenichi Kato Office, which has produced numerous stage productions. He holds multiple awards, including the Arts Council Prize in Literature and the Purple Ribbon Medal of Culture.
