Biography
Betty Loh Ti, known as the "Classic Beauty", was a celebrated Hong Kong actress born on July 24, 1937, in Shanghai. She rose to fame with roles in the 1960 film The Enchanting Shadow, earning her the title "China's most beautiful actress" at the 1960 Cannes Film Festival, and in the 1963 film The Love Eterne, which earned her the Golden Horse Award for Best Leading Actress. She died at the age of 31 from a barbiturate overdose.
