Biography

BoA, born Kwon Bo-ah on November 5, 1986, is a South Korean singer and actress known as the "Queen of K-pop." Trained by SM Entertainment talent agents in 1998, she debuted with ID; Peace B in 2000 and broke through in Japan with her debut Japanese studio album Listen to My Heart in 2002. BoA has since released numerous albums and appeared on various TV shows, including reality competitions and dramas.
