Biography

Alfred Robbins is a filmmaker born in Queens, N.Y., raised on Long Island, and educated at the State University of New York - Old Westbury. Before turning to cinema, he worked in the insurance industry. Robbins made his directorial debut with the 2008 film "Grapes on a Vine," which earned a nomination for Best Director at the 2008 Pan African Film Festival.
