M. Nasir

Biography

M. Nasir is a Singaporean poet, singer-songwriter, composer, producer, actor, and film director born on July 4, 1957. He was raised in Singapore by his parents, who emigrated from Malaysia, and later studied Western painting at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts before graduating in 1978. With a diverse background in music and art, Nasir is also known as a Sifu in the Malaysian music industry, with notable film appearances including "Rajawali" (2022).
