Biography

Don Castle was born Marion Goodman, Jr. on September 29, 1917, in Beaumont, Texas, to parents Marion Emanuel Goodman Sr. and Lucille Jeantelle-Viterbo. His resemblance to Clark Gable led him into acting, starting as a stage actor before moving to films with Paramount Pictures, where World War II stalled his career. He resumed acting after the war, starring in notable B films like "I Wouldn't Be in Your Shoes" and "The Guilty".
