Biography

Augusto Valdes Pangan Sr., known professionally as Chiquito, was a celebrated Filipino actor and comedian who dominated Philippine comedy during the "Golden Age." With his signature physical slapstick and deadpan humor, he starred in iconic satirical and action-comedy films for four decades. A talented dancer, Chiquito's entertainment career began at 13 with a performance at Manila Grand Opera House. He later served as Makati's Vice Mayor from 1989 to 1992.
