Biography

Ayọ is a German singer and actress born in Frechen near Cologne, Germany. Her debut album Joyful (2006) reached Double-Platinum status in France and Platinum in Germany, while she has since become the patron of UNICEF France to promote education for all children worldwide. The mother of two, Ayọ currently lives in Brooklyn, New York with her children Nile and Billie-Eve, who were born in 2005 and 2010 respectively.
