Erik Bruhn
Biography
Erik Bruhn was a Danish dancer and actor born in Copenhagen on October 3, 1928. He made his stage debut at the Royal Opera House in 1946 and went on to join the Royal Danish Ballet at 18, forming notable partnerships with Sonia Arova and later dancing for American Ballet Theatre. Bruhn's career spanned dance, acting, and writing, culminating in a notable role in Hans Christian Andersen (1952).
