James Neill was a renowned American stage actor and film actor of the silent era, known for his prolific career spanning nearly fifty years with extensive stage appearances across the United States, Canada, Hawaii, and the territories. He appeared in over 110 films between 1913 and 1930, including notable roles as Aaron in "The Ten Commandments" (1923) and Brother of John in "The King of Kings" (1927). Neill's wife, Edythe Chapman, was his frequent costar on stage and screen.
