Mark Finch

Biography

Mark Finch was a passionate advocate for LGBT cinema, founding and expanding international film festivals that helped create the first LGBT film market for distributors, sales agents, and independent film producers. Born in Manchester in 1961, Finch's life was marked by struggles with depression, but he channeled these into a love of film and comics. His early endeavors, including a photocopied fanzine, laid the groundwork for his later success.
