Ryoichi Tamagawa was a Japanese actor, voice actor, comedian, and浪曲 performer. Born Ryōichi Yamagawa in 1924, he was the youngest of seven brothers and was raised by his adoptive family, the New Ishida clan, before returning to his biological family and pursuing a career in entertainment. He gained popularity as a comedian and actor in the post-war era, performing in various TV shows and films, including the hit series "元祖どっきりカメラ."
