Gary Hailes is a British actor born on November 4, 1965, in London. He began his acting career after attending the Anna Scher Children's Theatre in Islington at age 13. Notable for being part of the first gay couple in a UK prime-time soap, he played Barry Clark in EastEnders from 1986 to 1989 and starred in several television series in the late 1980s.
