Joann Fletcher is a renowned Egyptologist and academic. Born on August 30, 1966, in Barnsley, she graduated from University College London with a BA in ancient history and Egyptology. Her PhD thesis on "Ancient Egyptian Hair: a study in style, form, and function" (1996) has contributed significantly to her expertise. Fletcher is currently an honorary visiting professor at the University of York.
