Domingos de Oliveira was a Brazilian actor, playwright, and filmmaker born on September 28, 1936, in Rio de Janeiro. He debuted as a playwright in 1966 with the critically acclaimed drama "Somos todos do jardim de infância," starring his wife at the time, Leila Diniz. De Oliveira went on to win numerous awards for his films, including "Todas as mulheres do mundo" and "Barata Ribeiro," before passing away on December 28, 2019, at the age of 82 due to complications from Parkinson's disease.
