Ofelia Popii

Biography

Ofelia Popii is a Romanian actress known for her diverse roles in film and theatre. She received the UNITER award three times for Best Actress and won the Gopo prize for Best Actress in a leading role for her portrayal of Elena Buciuman in "Q.E.D." (2015). A graduate of the University Babeș-Bolyai's Faculty of Theatre, she has performed extensively on stage at the Radu Stanca Theatre in Sibiu. She was also decorated with the Order of Cultural Merit in 2024.
