Francisco Di Franco

Biography

Francisco Di Franco was a Brazilian model, stage actor, and cinema/television actor who rose to fame in the 1950s with roles in circuses and later became a household name for his lead role as Jerônimo in the 1972-73 TV series "Jerônimo, o Herói do Sertão". He reprised the role in a 1984 telenovela adaptation produced by the SBT. In his later years, he transitioned to presenting and working behind the scenes.
