Odile Versois

Biography

Odile Versois was a French actress born in Paris in 1930, whose early life was marked by a passion for ballet and the performing arts. She appeared in 47 film and television productions between 1948 and 1980, including the notable role of Marie Louise 'Malou' Beaucaire in "Passport to Shame" (1958). A member of a family of performing artists, Versois was married twice and had four children before her untimely death from cancer at age 50 in 1980.
