Biography

Matti Oravisto was a Finnish actor who began his career in the Finnish National Theatre after graduating from theatre school in 1947. He gained recognition with his breakthrough role in Valentin Vaala's award-winning film Ihmiset suviyössä (1948). Oravisto continued to act in films and television productions throughout his career, including notable roles in Komisario Palmun erehdys (1960) and Pikkusisar (1999), before making his final film appearance.
