Al Kikume was a Hawaiian-American actor and musician born Elmer Kikumi Gozier on October 9, 1894. He gained recognition for his roles as Guard in "White Savage" (1943) and Chief Mehevi in John Ford's "The Hurricane" (1937). A talented performer, Kikume was a frequent radio and live event musician during the 1920s-30s, and also appeared in various jungle movies throughout Hollywood's golden age. He passed away on March 27, 1972, in Los Angeles.
