Jo Brand

Biography

Jo Brand is a comedian, presenter, actress, and writer born on July 23, 1957, in Clapham, London. She rose to fame with alternative comedy stand-up and appearances on various TV shows, including The Brain Drain, Channel 4's Jo Brand Through the Cakehole, and QI. In 2003, she was listed among the 50 funniest acts in British comedy by The Observer, and has since become a presenter of The Great British Bake Off: An Extra Slice.
