Biography

Sun Yueh was a renowned Taiwanese actor born on October 26, 1930, in Yuyao, Zhejiang. He appeared in his first film in 1962 and went on to win two Golden Horse Awards for Best Leading Actor in 1983 and Honorary Contributions in 2010. A devoted humanitarian, Sun stopped smoking after converting to Christianity in 1981 and advocated against tobacco use until his passing in 2018 at the age of 87.
