Biography

J. Elvis Weinstein is a veteran writer and performer, best known for his early work on the cult sci-fi comedy series Mystery Science Theater 3000, where he was a founding writer and performer at 17. He went on to pen and produce numerous network TV comedies, including Freaks and Geeks and America's Funniest Home Videos. Weinstein has also directed and performed in several films, including the documentaries I Need You to Kill and Michael Des Barres: Who Do You Want Me to Be?.
