Viktor Koltsov was a renowned Soviet actor and theatre professional, born in Moscow on November 23, 1898. He graduated from the Vakhanga Theatre School in 1928 and became an actor at the Mikhail Shchepkin Theatre in 1924. A celebrated performer, Koltsov received the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR in 1955 and won a Stalin Prize for his role in 'Egor Bulychov and Others' in 1952.
