André Montmorency was a Québécois actor and director born on May 30, 1939, in Montréal. He is notable for his long-running portrayal of Monsieur Jourdain in Molière's Le Bourgeois gentilhomme, which he performed nearly 200 times. Montmorency's work also includes roles in the films Chez Denise (1979) and Let's Talk About Love (1976), as well as the 2012 production of Pierrot in "Mars et Avril."
