He has directed films like Halloween III: Season of the Witch, Fright Night Part 2, and the miniseries adaptation of Stephen King's It. A longtime collaborator with director John Carpenter, he began as an art director on Carpenter's debut Dark Star and edited Halloween and The Fog alongside Charles Bornstein.
