Martine Simonet

Biography

Martine Simonet was born on January 26, 1943, in Bayonne, to a family from both the Bayonne region and the Landes area of France. She spent her childhood and adolescence in Rouen before embarking on a film career that included notable roles in "Le théâtre des matières" (1977), "Les Enfants du placard" (1977), and "Le Dernier Métro" (1980). After retiring from acting, Simonet moved to Jamaica in the 1980s, where she spent her later years. She died on July 2, 2024, in Montego Bay, Jamaica.
