Susanne Lüning is a German actress born on April 19, 1966, in Ost-Berlin. She trained at the Ernst Busch Berlin State Academy of Dramatic Arts from 1982 to 1986 and became a member of the Landestheater Halle ensemble from 1986 to 1989. Lüning's film career gained momentum in the late 1980s, with notable roles in DEFA films such as "Hälfte des Lebens" and "Sansibar oder der letzte Grund".
