Klári Tolnay

Biography

Klári Tolnay was a Hungarian actress born on July 17, 1914, in Budapest. She began her acting career after being mentored by Béla Gaál at the Hunnia Film Studio and landed her first notable role in Meseautó. In 1951 and 1952, she received the prestigious Kossuth Prize for her work. Throughout her career, she worked with prominent Hungarian theatre companies, including the Vígszínház and Madách Theatre.
