Ikko Furuya

Biography

Ikko Furuya was a Japanese actor and singer, born in Tokyo in 1944. He began his acting career while studying law at Chuo University and later gained notoriety for playing the lead role of Kosuke Kindaichi in numerous dramas. Furuya's personal life included his son Kenji, the vocalist of Dragon Ash, with whom he co-starred in the film "Letters" (2003). He passed away in 2022 at the age of 78.
