Ilfenesh Hadera

Biography

Ilfenesh Hadera is an American actress born on December 1, 1985, raised in Harlem, New York. She has collaborated with renowned filmmaker Spike Lee in films like Oldboy (2013) and Highest 2 Lowest (2025), among others. Hadera's father, Asfaha Hadera, is the founder of the African Services Committee, a Harlem-based organization that works with African refugees. Her mother Kim Nichols serves as co-director of ASC since 1984.
