Ronald "Ron" Brandsteder was a Dutch television presenter and actor born in Amsterdam on May 19, 1950. He gained recognition as the host of popular shows such as Showbizzquiz and Laat ze maar lachen, and also appeared as an actor and panellist on Wie ben ik?. A talented musician, he played synthesizer in his youth and later became a DJ at Hilversum 3 radio station from 1973.
