Biography

Daniel Seltzer was a distinguished scholar and educator, known for his expertise in English Renaissance theatre and performance. As an actor, he earned a Tony Award nomination for his performance in Jules Feiffer's Knock Knock, and also appeared in the 1978 film "An Unmarried Woman" as Dr. Arthur Jacobs. A founding director of Princeton's Program in Theater and Dance, he taught at Princeton University for most of his career.
