She gained recognition after winning the grand prize at the 2005 "松竹STAR GATE" auditions, a talent hunt held by the 110-year-old Tatsuta Shashin film studio. Ebise made her film debut in 2006 with the movie "釣りバカ日誌17 あとは能登なれハマとなれ!", followed by notable roles in "京都太秦物語" and "武士の献立".
