Troy Hurtubise

Biography

Troy James Hurtubise was a Canadian inventor and conservationist who created innovative protective suits for humans to safely interact with bears. His most notable invention, the Ursus suit, was featured in the documentary film Project Grizzly (1996), where he tested its capabilities against grizzly bears, discovering that they wouldn't attack the suit. Hurtubise also developed the Trojan Ballistics Suit of Armor, an exoskeleton designed for soldiers.
