Eamon Kelly
Biography
Eamon Kelly was born on March 30, 1914, in Gneeveguilla, County Kerry, Ireland. He began his career as a carpenter's apprentice before discovering his passion for acting after watching a production of Juno and the Paycock. Kelly became a prominent figure in Irish theatre, working extensively with the Gate Theatre and Abbey Theatre in Dublin, and was nominated for a Tony Award in 1966 for his role in Brian Friel's Philadelphia, Here I Come.
